Primary Function
- Originate mortgage loans in a call center environment from
leads that are provided by the company's marketing team while
maintaining minimum unit production standards.
Principal Duties
Utilize selling techniques for leads that are generated via:
- Internet, radio and media-based mortgage leads
- Referrals
- Direct mail prospects
- Other sources that derive from special marketing campaigns
- Meet monthly minimum personal production goals
- Take mortgage loan applications by phone and prepare effective
loan proposals:
- Determine a consumer's needs and offer the appropriate
product
- Provide consumers with a superior level of customer
service
- Stay informed of developing trends in the mortgage
industry
- Attend/assist with scheduled meetings, training sessions and
courses
- Maintain compliance with New Penn Financial Code of
Conduct
Education & Experience
- 2 year college degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements
- Ability to quickly connect with people in an outgoing, friendly
manner
- Persuasive, selling communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility for completing work quickly and
accurately
- Ability to handle faster-than-average pace of activities

Sales Manager
Locations:
PRIMARY FUNCTION
The primary responsibility of this position is successful
management of a team of mortgage loan originators in a call-center
environment, achieving call center volume and unit objectives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Manages loan originator sales performance, motivation,
scheduling, training, and administration of
policies/procedures
- Originates and maintains personal loan production
- Ensures originations team is presenting loans at appropriate
rate, amounts, terms that comply with NPF program guidelines
- Reviews sales pipeline on daily/monthly basis in order to
achieve monthly sales goals
- Advise Director of, and assist in resolution of, customer
complaints concerning any area of the company
- Assists in training/development of loan originators to function
in all aspects of loan originations and selling techniques in a
sales environment with marketing-supported leads management
- Works with the Call Center Branch Manager to achieve
team/department goals
- Maintain personal and team compliance with New Penn Financial
Code of Conduct
- Collaborates with the Operations Department to assist in the
flow of production/sales
- Recruit, interview and select loan originators
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Keep informed of developing trends in the industry
- Coordinate scheduled meetings, training sessions and courses as
needed for the call center operation
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager
Desired Skills & Experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 4 year business or finance degree preferred
- Must have proven extensive sales experience in the retail
mortgage industry
- Experience with phone/internet lead solicitation sales
- Prior management experience
- Relevant experience in selling mortgage products in the finance
company/mortgage industry preferred

LICENSING & SPECIAL
REQUIREMENTS
- Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as required
- Must qualify for and obtain state licensure in the states where
New Penn Financial does business. The Secure and
Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act)
requires state-licensed mortgage loan originators to pass a written
qualified test, to complete pre-licensure education courses, and to
take annual continuing education courses
- The SAFE Act also requires all mortgage loan originators to
submit fingerprints to the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System
(NMLS) for submission to the FBI for a criminal background check;
and state-licensed MLOs to provide authorization for NMLS to obtain
an independent credit report
