Mortgage Loan Application Checklist

To help you prepare for your Home Mortgage Loan Application, the following checklist outlines the basic items/information needed to process your application:  

  • Social security number
  • Place of residence (Residence history over the last two years)
  • Proof of employment and income (Employer history over last two years, recent paycheck stub and copies of W-2's for the last two years)
  • Bank account information (Copies of checking and savings account statements over the last 3 months)
  • Copies of quarterly or semi-annual statements for checking, savings, IRA's, CD's, money market fund, stock, 401k, profit sharing, etc.
  • Tax documents (Tax returns for the last two years)
  • Drivers license
  • Refinance Copy of Note, Deed of Trust, Settlement Statement, Survey, and Insurance information 
  • Copy of sales contract when ratified
  • Self-employment documents (If self-employed, items include balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and federal tax statements for the last two years.) 

Note: Additional documentation may be requested during the underwriting process as a result of information contained in the documents provided.
